Disputes in the workplace are sometimes hard to settle, we can help you

If you have any dispute with your employer you should first try and resolve the dispute using your employer's internal policies and procedures.  If that does not work then a complaint to an external body may be warranted.  Depending on the nature of your dispute a complaint to Fair Work Australia or your State Industrial Relations Commission may be justified.

Generally Fair Work Australia or the Commission will convene a conference first to try and resolve the dispute quickly with a minimum of disruption to you and the employer.  If the dispute is not resolved by a conference or other negotiation then it may be referred for arbitration or a hearing where Fair Work or the Commission makes determinations or orders that are bidning on you and your employer.
